| UnTrained. Basically, it hasn't been used in battle or been fed any vitamins. It's exactly as it was when it was caught. He probably wants to EV train it. | |

| That's right. I want to see if an EV trained Registeel with the right nature will do better than the one I have, which has random EVs and a less-than-optimal nature. | |

| I have a non glitched and normal Registeel if you want it. I'll have a look at it's nature though just in case you don't like it. | |

| The nature MUST be careful. No exceptions. And if you've already fought a single pokemon with it, then it's no good. | |

| Just found a hilarious story:
Customer: *storms up to desk* “I DEMAND A REFUND!”
(She slams a copy of Pokemon Platinum on the counter.)
Cashier: “Certainly, what seems to be the problem?”
Customer: “My freaking fire monkey DIED! See?”
(She pulls the DS from her pocket, turns it on, enters game, and shows me that her Pokemon [a chimchar] has no HP.)
Cashier: “Well, I can…erm…revive your ‘fire monkey’ if you’d like.”
Customer: “What are you, some freaking Pokemon priest?! MY FIRE MONKEY IS DEAD!”
Cashier: “No, no, look.”
(The cashier controls her character to go to a Pokemon Center and heal up her Pokemon.)
Cashier: “There, all better.”
Customer: “THANK YOU! YOU SAVED MY FIRE MONKEY! HOW CAN I EVER REPAY YOU?!”
Cashier: “Um…no problem, ma’am. Glad to help.”
Customer: “AND SO HUMBLE! YOU SAVED MY FIRE MONKEY!” *leaves store*

| You work at a video game store? Cool. You should have just explained to them that your pokemon never actually "die". They just faint from exhaustion in battle. It really annoys me when people say that pokemon die in battle.
Also, how old was this person?

I can battle whenever you're ready. I'm still using my Garchomp, though, no matter what you say.

| You know, I might train my Adamant Arceus and Jolly Zekrom just to battle Gelo using Ubers, because Garchomp is Uber. | |

I can battle whenever you're ready. I'm still using my Garchomp, though, no matter what you say. Which means Garchomp carries his team. Sad, really. all you need to take him out is a powerful ice type with a Focus Stash or whatever allows you to survive with 1 Hp left. Since it's EV trained, it's defenses are probably softer. Correct me if I'm wrong.

| Unfortunately, he might have Stealth Rock up, which lets him kill you. Also, if I remember correctly, his Garchomp has a sash too, meaning it can break your sash and kill you, as it's probably faster. And that doesn't include anything the other 5 Pokemon on his team could do to beat your Ice Beam user.
Everything has a weakness. Some are just more crippling than others. Garchomp's (Only) weakness is quite hard to exploit.
Oh, and while I remember, Sandstorm could both break the sash and give Garchomp more evasion. Tyranitar is quite common.

| Garchomp is actually a little complex. Due to its Focus Sash, it can only act as a lead or a revenge killer to make sure that it doesn't break its sash immediately. The idea of the sash is that it ensures that Garchomp gets in a Swords Dance without getting KO'd by a super strong move, or Ice Beam. After Swords Dance is in, it can OHKO pretty much anything that isn't defensive and doesn't resist either of its STAB moves, Outrage and Earthquake. Luckily, I have Fire Fang to take care of levitating steels like Bronzong.
This leaves Garchomp quite a few weaknesses. If he runs into a pokemon that's faster than him (which is unlikely due to the EV investment and Jolly nature), if it can 2HKO him, then I'm doomed if I decide to set up with Swords Dance. Also, priority is a bad thing if the opponent can get me down to low health.

| What level is said Garchomp? Im currently training my team (And EV training a few of them) but I may (probably will) need to train them more before they can face anyone.(I only have one lvl100 pokemon) And I got super lucky on that lvl100(Shiny Dragonite), as I did not intentionally EV train it, yet it has near maximum attack, pretty good speed, and pretty good defense. I think thats pretty good for a non EV trained pokemon.(Adamant Nature) | |

| My Garchomp is level 50 since I use it just for Battle Subway and battling other people on Flat Rules. I prefer not to battle people without flat rules because of level differences, and I simply don't have the determination to train a pokemon to level 100.
Actually, now that I think about it, Garchomp is level 51. I think I used him in some in-game battles.

| I'm training a mono-type Ghost team. Can anybody suggest a good set for an Eviolite Dusclops? I want to stall stuff with it. | |

Also, I am considering training either a Huntail or a Gorebyss. Any ideas which one?
EDIT: Ignore that, I'm going for a Gorebyss.

| Here's the RMT thread for my ghost mono team, if anyone's interested:

(I use the Ghost skin, so don't be surprised if everything's purple instead of green)

| I've decided that I'm going to learn how to RNG. I've tried before, but the guides just didn't work for me. I finally found a step-by-step guide that explains everything for me and I think I can learn it, so I'm going to apply myself and try my best. Hopefully, by the end of the day, I'll have a Chandelure with perfect IVs and hidden power ice. Wish me luck. | |

| I'm gonna use that guide I think. I always wanted to learn but never had the time. | |

| Well, I got stuck already. When I put the IVs into the RNG reporter, there were no results when I hit Search. I'm asking about it on Serebii, where apparently everyone knows how to RNG, so I might be able to continue soon enough. | |

| You aren't on a DSi or 3DS?
You got the IV down properly?
You filled in the MAC Address properly?
Got the right Version and Language?
This is what could have gone wrong, and there are probably more ways it could've.

| I'm using DS lite, with the right MAC and version and stuff. It's the IVs that confuzzle me. I can't figure out what to put in the maximum and minimum IV spots. If you know what to do, then here's a screenshot of what I got: | |

| I personally use Metalkid's IV calculator. Why not try that?
Also, I don't think you put anything into the min/max IVs, I think the program fills them in when it calculates the IVs, but I'm not sure.
