I have a question: will Assurance's damage double if the enemy is Poisoned?

Poison Damage goes at the end of a turn, so I would assume not.

Oh okay thanks Ferret. Since Gelo gave me a Dratini (which later it evolved into Dragonite) that pokemon would have come from a different place. I'm just getting a thought here. If I breed my soon to own Gabite with Gelo's Dragonite..it might work although I'm not 99 percent sure it will..

Are the 2 games they were caught on different languages? if they were, you can use the Masuda Method. If not, regular shiny chance.

Yeah, the games have to be in different languages. I'm pretty sure we both speak English. I'm breeding my female Vibrava with a Japanese male Heracross to get a shiny Trapinch egg, since they're different languages.

As for your Gible, the vitamins don't really increase its stats. They just add on EVs that you could get just as easily by battling wild pokemon.

Some people use vitamins to speed up EV training. I personally don't see the point, since EV training is really not that hard and it's a waste of money.

As Gelatino said, the reason for them is to speed up EV training. Although EV training is easy, it is also time consuming, so some people use vitamins to speed up the process

EV training is hardly time consuming. If you have the right Power item and Pokerus, then you should only need to do about 25 battles against pokemon that give +1 EV (and exactly 21 battles against pokemon that give +2 EV) That's not a lot of battles.

Yes, but if your pokemon doesn't have pokerus, then using the maximum number of vitamins you can use on your pokemon for that stat and the right brace has pretty mutch the same effect

That's true, but there are plenty of places where you can get Pokerus if you can't catch it yourself. People will gladly trade you their pokemon that carry Pokerus so you can make use of it. That way, you don't have to waste a ton of money on vitamins.

If you need pokerus, then I could trade you one of my pokerus carriers.

Just a question, what are your thoughts on Metagross? I love the design, and it's got an excellent attack and defense. But is it better as a tank or a sweeper?

It's an incredible tank. If you give it Agility, you could possibly sweep with it. Even though it has no reliable recovery, it could make good use of Life Orb along with Agility. I've noticed that it's become increasingly popular lately as a tank, so I would highly suggest using it. Good choice.

If I had a foreign Ditto, I would definitely MM for a shiny Beldum once I'm done with Trapinch. Its shiny design is completely beast.

I might get you one for a good trade. MMing isn't a walk in the park, you know. I've been at it for days and I still don't have that Trapinch. And also, since I'm not using RNG abuse, I can't be sure that it'll have the right nature. If you want one for competitive battling, I suggest either RNG manipulation or just get one that's not shiny.

Thanks for the offer Gelo but I already have too many pokemon that have the virus. Also my gible is now a gabite with decent moves. I'm gonna try breed it later on sometime. ^^
