Does anybody know a moveset for Whiscash? It is my second favorite Wtaer/Ground type, after Gastrodon. Howeevr, unlike Gastrodon, I can't find any sets for it online.

| You know how pokemon have egg groups? Well I thought I try breeding both pokemon that have the Field Egg group which were a male Simisear and a female Samerwott (can't spell that name right). I thought I would have gotton a Pansear but instead I got an Oshawott with Lonely nature and these for stats. o-o

| Well, of course the female makes the egg. That's how it always works in nature. Did you seriously think your male pokemon was going to make an egg? When a pokemon lays an egg, it will always hatch into the pokemon that laid it regardless of the father. And those stats look completely normal for a baby pokemon. If you think they're really goo, then maybe you were lucky enough to hatch a pokemon with good IVs. | |

| Starters are just like any other rare pokemon, so there's no reason you shouldn't be able to breed them with other kinds. Usually I breed my starters with Dittos, since there's only a 1/8 chance of your starter being female when you choose it. | |

| Ah I think I get the idea now. I just caught myself a Houndour and it knew a move called Beat Up. I tested it out and my houndour pulled off six hits! I think it depends on how many pokemon is in your party. Is that pretty much to it? :/ | |

| Yes, that is how Beat Up works. Although I had no idea Houndour could learn it. | |

| I enterd my first ever Pokemon Tournement and it was wayy intense but fun! I only won one match, lost the other three therefor I didn't make it to the second round, one was unfair (reason for that) and two close calls matchs which I lost. This is the team I used for the Tourney.
Empoleon Luxray Sceptile Golem Lucario Staraptor
By the way is Flase swipe a bad move cause I thought if your oppents health was full, it allowed ya to send their health down to one though that wouldn't be it. :/ This is what my Sceptile knows: Giga Drain Leaf Blade Arial Ace False Swipe (Suggetsions for a better move to replace it?)
Also what's MMing? | |

Also what's MMing? False Swipe is very weak. Its effect is that it always leaves the opponent with one HP, so even if the enemy would normally be knocked out, it'll still survive the hit. This is good for catching pokemon, especially legendaries. MM is short for Masuda Method. It's when you breed a pokemon with another pokemon of a different language game to dramatically increase the chance of hatching a shiny. I just got a shiny Trapinch this way and now I'm looking for a shiny Koffing, but I can't do that until I have a female of the species from a different language game. Also, no need for two grass moves on your Sceptile. Get rid of one. I'd suggest using Leaf Storm since Sceptile is a superior special attacker. If you feel like going physical and maybe running Swords Dance, try Leaf Blade. In addition, if you can get your hands on one with Unburden, then use a grass gem to double its speed instantly. If you want to disregard the special attack drop from Leaf Storm, then you can pack some physical moves on it. You could always go with the infamous Flying Gem + Acrobatics combo.

That's a good moveset so far, but you might want to replace False swipe with a support move, like Toxic. Giga drain and Leaf blade give Sceptile good STAB, and aerial ace can take care of other grass pokemon as well as bug and fighting. Toxic would be a good choice for taking down physical and special walling pokemon while you use giga drain to keep your health up. On a different matter, my first party of pokemon, each around level 70 (apart from Meganium, level 93) is, well, terrible. Containing 3 grass and 3 flying, it is composed of the aforementioned Meganium, Vileplume, Victreebell, Pidgeot, Skarmory, and Lugia. Their movesets are pretty poor, apart from Meganium who I am trying to turn into a support partner. What I'm trying to say is, can anyone suggest some new pokemon to replace some of these?

| Toxic might not be a bad idea actually. I think I'll go with it. Thank you for the idea. ^^
If it's not too much trouble, are these good moves for Empoleon?
Hydro Cannon Surf Flash Cannon Ice Beam

| Well, you have a water-steel pokemon, so three of the moves there receive STAB, and Ice beam is really good for your grass opponents. However, I would personally make a choice between surf and Hydro cannon. Surf is balanced and always reliable, but hydro cannon takes two turns, which can leave an opponent the opportunity to heal or switch. Surf does enough damage already and hydro cannon can leave you vulnerable. They both deal special damage so you won't be losing an attack-type.
If you replace hydro cannon with earthquake, you gain an advantage against electric types. They only have one weakness and you are helpless against it with your moveset. Earthquake will also give you an advantage against other steel types, which your other moves are weak against.
You might also want to consider a flying-type attack, to take care of your fighting-type enemies.
So there you go ^_^ | |

| I think Vileplume is a better supporter than Meganium, but i guess I wouldn't know. You should probably get rid of everything else, though, otherwise Ice-types are going to wreak havoc on your team. If you're going to keep Vileplume, or if you have a Dream World Meganium (or both?), I's suggest a Dream World Charizard to deal with the Ice-types. Of course, you'll probably have to pack a Dream World Ninetales as well... | |

Uh, I have Soulsilver and Diamond, so I can't get to the dream world. Vileplume has healing and poisoning moves, so he could be good support, but I want to find use for Meganium as well, he being level 93 and I don't want to waste that. But in saying that I may have to get new movesets for the other members, they aren't good at all. I'll start looking into new pokemon to fill the spaces.

You can't use a TM? You find it at the relic castle.

The Earthquake TM is found in the Relic Castle. Just go to where you find Volcarona and head for the exit from there; the TM should be somewhere along the way.
