Oh.. Lol.

Ah yes. I remember playing Pokemon Gold and Silver the orginal games to Heartgold and Soulsilver and I always picked Cyndaquil as my starter choice. Ah now they were nice games to play with until they got corrupted for some reason. Now I can't save my game data without starting the whole thing again. I still have Pokemon Gold with me but I don't play it anymore although it's still nice to keep it as a collecter's item. I always loved the First, Second, Third and Fourth Gen Pokemon imo cause I thought they were the best. Any who I need some move advice (again) and this time it's my Infernape. I'm having a little trouble with him and I'm not sure if these moves are any good.

Current Moves
Flamethrower
Slack Off
Calm Mind
Close Combat

I didn't even know he could learn Calm Mind but maybe I should replace it with bulk up. Suggetions? Thanks. ^^'

I think Work Up would be a better move than Calm Mind, but that's just my opinion.


Also, I'm guessing this is a Blaze Infernape, not a Iron Fist Infernape?

Well yeah he is a blaze one just like all fire starters. I'm guessing your just pulling my leg about the iron fist yes?

Iron Fist's it's Dream World ability.

Ahh...can you explain to me what this ability does?

Increases the power of punching moves (hammer arm, mach punch, fire punch, etc.) by 1.2x, if I remember correctly.

Okay but what about the water and grass types? Do they get a nifty dream world ability to?

All starters get new DW abilities. Check their Serebii pages.

Smogon just updated its strategy pokedex for fifth gen. Now it includes all the compiled sets for fifth gen pokemon as well as new ones for old pokemon. I highly suggest that you go check it out, since it'll be much easier to navigate the pages since you don't have to look on the forum.

Today, I was putting a certain amount of pokemon in my PC box to get more PC boxes, so I was searching around in my box and in Box 24 I see a random shiny bulbasaur! I don't have Bulbasaur in my Pokedex, which is weird.

That's not all, It's female, Lv. 1 has no abilities and doesn't have any moves!

It's name is: ??????????

I THINK it might be a glitchmon from older Pokemon games.

I don't know how this happened, but PLEASE alert me ASAP if it's harmful to my game!

But there's 24 boxes, so it's Gen V, and the Invisible Shiny Bulbasaur is Gen. IV. I'd say you messed up when doing some hack, because that's probably the only way to get that to appear.

Man I just have this thought. What if the two glitchy pokemon both bulbasaur and Missingno (let's pretend) were both in your game? Ughh...*Shivers* that would really mess up your game horribly. Anyways does anyone have a answer for my question?

They do that so more people can fit in the room at the same time.

I haven't had a battle with anyone here for ages. Anyone want a battle with me? I've got some highly new trained pokemon that are at lv 100. Though it will have to be sometime later on this evening cause I am busy for nearly the whole day.

I never found the appeal of training pokemon to level 100. Seems like a huge waste of time.

Nah, it doesn't take too long. Just trade the pokemon to another game holding a lucky egg. When you train it, even around level 90 it will gain about a level per elite four member.
