it blows up into chunks. if that's not gore, I don;'t know what is. though the blood could just be some blue or green substance. They ARE aliens. but I'd love to get some real gore effects in mah adventures.

WHOA! gottan idea. what if you could turn on effects like gore, and other more adult things. then, based on what you have turned on, the creator gives your adventure an age advisement, like E, T or M.

we need more textured creatures. like fur and scazles should actualy pop not just be a "print" on the skin.

We should also have a more realistic creature stage in which epics would actualy be able to pick you up. There should also be epic nests with eggs in it! Also in space stage there shoul be epics on planets that are T1 or up. The higher the terrascor ethe more epics. And the epics (if they are on one of your colonized planets) should be able to attack it. And there should be more disasters.

some of those disasters should be packs of animals attacking your species or allies colonys or herds of frightened animals. Also your species should have some guard spaceships on your planets to protect them from pirates or enemies. You should be able to move around in your spaceship if your parked at a stable or allied planet (allied includes your own species)

Maxis should also have some templates for you to tamper with and make an adventure or creature. And maxis should come out with new creatures every month or so to keep on pollonating the game for everybody (including those without a spore account) to use or meet in the stages.

I think it would be cool if you could become an epic! it would work something like this: everytime a starship or starships come to your planet theres a 5% chance they will use the epicsizer on you!

once your an epic you can; beat up the sea monster that prevents you from reaching other continents!
you may now attack tribes, citys, civilazations, and starships that come to your planet!
once your an Epic you can never advance creature stage.
you are extremley powerfull and can stomp and grab creatures, tribal people, and civilazed people.
you can destroy trees rocks, and over landmarks.

Wouldn't that suck if you couldn't complete creature stage? What if you were in the middle of evolving your best creature EVAR???

I think after about ten minutes, you should have the option of turning back into a normal creature, in case you actually want to continue with the game.

I'll make it like this: once your an Epic anytime you want you can call the gods with your loud roar and you can get them to: turn you back into a normal creature! this works 50% of the time, the over 50% of the time they will make extreme weathers or kill the rest of your species! just cuz they feel like it! how horrible!

I'd say once your an epic you are an epic until you die from tribes, vehicles, etc. and once your born again you start as a normal creature.

I was thinking the same thing! Only my idea is for the space stage:

It takes place inside a small star cluster, with about fifty stars for every player (if there's two players, there are 100 stars; if there's three players, there are 150 stars, etc). The players start out with several colonies and a homeworld, as well as fleets (see Space Stage Improvements! on page 1). Throughout the set time period (anywhere from fifteen minutes to two hours) you must destroy the opposing empires. You can form temporary alliances with other players as you take on difficult enemies. Whoever has the most colonies at the end wins.

You cannot actually establish your own colonies unless you have less than five.

These are all amazing ideas. I think instead of a new game, Maxis should just make another expansion pack and have the GAC help design it (at least help with ideas)!

A few suggestins I have are..

1. Add infantry to Civilization and space combat. I want to see my creature fight with the tank I made.

2. You should be able to drop infantry and vehicles to help attack planets.

3. Vehicles should be combat effective making for more intense planet combat.

4. You not be the only ship your empire has. Like others have said, have fleets to do what you want them to. Or at least have ships dfend your colonies and make uber turrets much more powerful.


Can someone send our ideas into Maxis or something. That would make Spore that much better if these ideas were actually used.

1. The Complexity meter should be larger or the freedom cheat should allow you to share creatures still.
2. The hypnomelder item (shaman captain ability) should do DOS to whatever you used it on or should allow you to attack that creature still.

These are suggestion for improving Galactic Adventures. They are NOT ranked in order of desire.

1) There can be up to ten acts, with a maximum of five goals each.

2) More gameplay objects. I was thinking that all the weapons and captain accessories would be available for the characters to pick up and use. They would gain that ability until they either drop the weapon or it runs out of shots (though they can be programmed to have infinite ammo).

3) You can create an Adventure in space, with no planet.

4) Vehicles can be programmed to be unmanned. If it is, the Captain can board it and control it. Aircraft can be programmed to sit on the ground. And all vehicles can be programmed to fire different types of weapons, like bullets, missiles, bombs, laser bolts, and laser beams. You can determine which weapons the vehicle would be equipped with, and how much damage each one would do.

Also, you can create vehicle adventures, in which you control a vehicle the whole time.

5) Characters with ranged weapons like the Plasma Pulser can be programmed with 'homing' capability. If they're not, you can dodge their attacks.

6) Advanced behavior for vehicles.

7) More advanced behavior. Some examples are say, throw, dodge (see #5), jump.

8) Downloadable music. Here's how it would work: you'd find a recording of a music you would like to have in your Adventure. You upload it to Spore.com and then wait while the Maxis people examine it. If they're satisfied that it's appropriate for Spore, they'll allow you to put in your Adventure. Music with words and lyrics wouldn't be allowed.

9) More effects. Here are some of my suggestions:

Laserfire: there'd be four of these: blue, red, green, and purple. There'd also be Laserfire Impact in each color.

Hologram: You can drag this effect over any other object, including other effects. It will give that object the same holographic effect as the Hologram Scout in the space stage. You can't physically interact with objects with these effects (except socialize, talk, etc), but you can do whatever else you want with them.

In fact, this could work with ALL the effects. You can drag them onto objects so that the effect would follow them around.

10) Aircraft would actually behave like aircraft. You all know what I mean. Also, you can adjust their starting altitude.

11) Land vehicles can be placed on top of buildings.

12) For the beam-in cutscene, you can determine whether the captain beams in or just enters the room. Also, you can determine the mood of the scene: happy, sad, angry, scared, etc. You can do the same thing with the ending cutscene, and you can even choose to have the captain die at the end.

13) Night would actually look like night.

14) You can place planets in your Adventures. I know it's somewhat easy to put in a building that looks like a planet, but come on. You should be able to actually drag a planet of your choice into your Adventures (gas giants included) to add to the background and/or story. You can also determine whether your Adventure takes place on a planet or moon (if it's the latter the host planet would be visible from the surface, as well as any other moons) and whether it has rings. Wouldn't that be cool? Also, you can choose what kind of star your planet would orbit.

And if a background planet is set to "destroyed" (like buildings), it would look like a Planet Buster explosion.

15) You can set your planet with a certain Terrascore. It will have that Terrascore when you encounter it in the space stage. You can also determine if your Adventure takes place on a moon. If so, you can also choose what kind of planet it would be orbiting.

16) Here's how the atmosphere density and temperature should be decided:

You have the same Terraforming display as the one in the Space Stage. You can drag the red dot around the display, and the temperature and atmospheric density will change as well. The water level will not be affected, and you can choose whether it turns to lava/ice or not. And you can still adjust the color of the planet.

17) The "Becoming a Space Captain" Adventure should take place on a moon. I don't know why, I just think it looks better when it's a moon and not a planet.

18) Goals should work for Gameplay Objects, too.

19) With the Talk to/Examine goal, you can determine the angle the player will see the object/character, and if it's a character you can determine if he/she/it will turn to face you.

20) In the Captain outfitter, there should be a whole new page of weapons and/or accessories. Some examples are: flamethrower, blaster (like from Star Wars), pistol, machine gun, knife (can be expanded into sword), and a hovering jet pack. Players wouldn't be allowed to play with Captains that have any of these accessories.

The one thing we have never had for Spore was different weapons to attatch to your creature... NOT ONCE! Not counting GA, because that's in the captain editor.

Speaking of making Spore better, I've been getting some server errors for the last few hours... Is anyone else getting these? I can't check my comments, search, sometimes login, and other stuff... This is why we need a patch, MAXIS. MAD

On the other note, being an expert at the adventure creator, I have found a lot of glitches and problems they should fix, listed below:

1. Creatures falling through buildings when something is undone, or if played in test drive. This can be solved by changing the loading order of tpes of objects in the creator.

2. Randomly disappearing objects. No explanation required. It's just plain stupid. I discovered this problem while making SIA Part XI.

3. Advanced actions need to be better-functioning. Creatures with advanced actions most of the time don't listen to commands. and sometimes carry their advanced actions from previous acts to ones where I completely changed their actions.

4. COMPLEXITY! I cannot stress this enough... Maxis, I know it has to do with the size of information loaded to your server, but please just DEAL WITH IT! If you can host over a hundred-million creations, why can't you just let us make complex adventures???

I think we can all come to an agreement that Maxis needs to stop focusing on Darkspore and work on their only Spore game that actually makes them money... SPORE. Why can't they just figure it out already? coo coo
