The Laboratory of Win

Well, not quite.

That's what we're hoping it'll turn into.
Due to the success of the UGF, I thought it might be nice to create a thread on the Lab.
We're not just discussing Science, of course, though this well-trod world is based upon Physics and Quantum mechanics. We also discuss Gaming, Graphic design, Movies, and books.

Debates make up part of our forums too. The philosophy "Think what you want, it's your opinion" may be accepted 'round this earth, but at the Lab, you might want to think for a moment about why you have a differing opinion.

Of course, it's not always serious, as I mentioned earlier. We do have fun, as it's not all work. It's about getting to know each others interests and more about the other users while both gaining a (buzzword alert) Global Perspective and Higher Education.

I'm not so incliend in science or anything, but as a creationist, I could offer some philosophical stuff. But I'm not sure if I want to join.

I have a problem. I try to log in, but it says my username is inactive or invalid. I try to register, it says my username is used or, more importantly my email adress is used.

If I were you, I would let them join, and if they turn out to be a troll, then ban them and delete all their posts. Simple.

Besides, he has the same avatar as GhostofIllusion, so chances are he's the same person.

Finally! We're restoring the Lab! I LOVE the new graphics! I'll try to get more users for us too, (As because you, me, and Gelo are kinda the only active founding members). I will take my founding+chatmodding job responsibly, and I'll see you there!

BTW, there's a new section called "Best of the Week" which covers the best of something that you found in a week - for example there's a Game of the Week section, in which you can post you suggestions for best online games, and there's soon to be many more "Best of the Week"'s to come. Right now we've got an amazing game of the week, so be sure to check that out if you enjoy online games with plot.

Right. Here, it was a spelling error. When I first made the forum there, Laboratory was taken, but not "Labratory" which is still semi-close. - 3D

Also, to add on to Lazer's suggestions, many of the buttons are gone from the forum index, including the Profile button. This means that people can't edit their profile. I think the reason the buttons are gone is because you switched to a forum layout that doesn't include the buttons.

I haven't thoroughly explored the admin panel, but you may be able to use the advanced settings to include some links to the profile. However, I'm not sure if that would work. If not, then you'll just have to change the layout.
