Anybody else have to get to higher ground because of this? An evacuation order is a $#!%%^ thing to wake up to… We’re being told it could hit any moment.

I have gathered trusted Intel on this. It is expected to hit all Pacific lying areas.
As you can see the predictions of California and the western American coast are finally becoming a reality. Sure this has happened in the past but the Quake was a massive 8.9 thats almost a 9 and it looks like things are going to hell fast.
It originated from Japan.. as also seen on the map.
We are almost all in for something.

The west coast was, or is still supposed to be hit. From a tsunami, in theory. Worse than the one in japan, the pacific area has seen to gone up in berserk earthquakes, causing a LOT of trouble. I hope you're going to be all right, you should be. But still, the prospect of a wave the size of a medium sized building is not a very appealing idea.
On another note, their is a potentially unstable nuclear reactor in japan that the officials might still be trying to stabilize it, hopefully they already have. A radiation spill in japan would NOT be a good thing.

I just got back from science camp, Tsunami! I heard too! I live RIGHT where it's supposed to hit, I'm close to the ocean too, there's helicopter's EVERYWHERE! I'm not too worried though...

I'm in that "Danger Zone" where the Tsunami could hit... I don't want Loon or me to die But I will stay calm, and won't worry....

First wave was 4 or 5 feet at like 7 something in morning. One person died, he was down on the beach trying to take pictures of the tsunami. All seems fine here now.

I think he should have known better to not take a picture, cause if he was smart to stay at home away from the beach he wouldn't have died. :/

No, I'm in California! We got the emergency broadcast about it the night before, but we didn't think it would actually do any damage here. The last tsunami warning we got didn't amount to anything.
