GROX TIP

grox tips!


Ever sence the very first trip to the center of the galaxy, the spore community has been obsessed by the grox. more importantly, go to copy them. well, there is a hack you can get online, to force save the grox that i have never tried, owing t the fact that that hack doesn’t work on macs. but i do know how to edit them. the pictures above are PNGs. to edit these, open up the spore creature editor ( not ingame) and minimise spore using command Return. drag one of these pictures to your desktop, and then drag it into your editor. ( before you do ANYTHING) now feel free to edit the Grox, Brox, Ouzzi, and the grox cell. take a picture ingame, and do something with it. ( you cannot save the grox

this is not the end of my grox tips. I have sucsessfully allied the grox. in fact, I have done it Multiple times. this is not a picture from my game, as I have used slightly diffrent methods, but the idea is the same. Broke Galactic code: Zealot and scientist powers do this. use this cheat to refill them. setconsequencetrait space_zealot

you will have to do this multiple times. then, do their missions, untill you get +50 ( that’s as high as you can go.) place some colonies near the grox: this will enable you to heal- they will shoot at you untill you hit the ally button. then create a few trade routs. this will get you +30 over time. friendly tools in my opinion are the happy rays. it’s kind of hard, especially if your using no cheats, so i use cheats. when you are pointing it at the city, they will shoot at you, and your battery will run out. use refillmotives in the cheat console to fix both these problems for a few minutes.
Gracious Greeter super power can only be gotten if your creature has been nice ( green) throughout the stages.) that’s me ! remember to give gifts of LARGE sums of money. then, just for good measure, make an embassy! that’s MY way of allying the grox. have fun! destroying comeing soon.

Right, and I might add that when giving your gifts, always give in bunches of 100,000. If you're not sure how to make this money, go to a Civilized planet and steal all their spice (I've got 72 Spice that way). If you've got max health (11,250) and power at max, you should be getting into the millions in no time.

Another thing is that you never should give more than 400,000 Sporebucks. You will hit your maximum +50 Gifts at that point.

Yet another Grox tip - allying with them gives you a -200 relationship with anyone else, so if you contact anyone and have a lower that 150 relationship with them, they will instantly declare war on you.

Do you by any chance know how many GROX Planets there are? I've heard there are tons and tons of them, but I haven't gone to the Center of the Galaxy yet. Apparently there's some cool item there.

they have claimed 1500 star systems!

Yes, 1500 WIDE OPEN TARGETS. Their cities are rarely ever defended, possibly a turret with it. So if you can deal with the grox ships, chances are you can waste their planets in the dozens. I've allied and destroyed the grox before. Destroying them is so much more fun.

i have allied them two! :) but then the whole galaxy hated me! :( and i have never completely destroyed them! :( but its not easy!

If you have a T1 or higher planet can the Grox ever get to your planet then? Cause if so you could get the ecologist superpower, go to a T3 planet with a max cargo hold and tons of terraforming tools and terraform the Grox. That is the Grox's weakest thing.

And at that note wouldn't colonizing nothing but AT least T1 planets help, a lot when the Grox come by.

teraformed planets cant be groxed. BUT THEY HAVE TO HAVE STABLE ECOSYSTEMS!

I've only met the Grox once so far so I don't know a whole lot about them, only 'cause I don't play that far in space stage and i quit early cause I like tribal stage and lower the most and GA

I once was playing Tribal stage when this Grox spaceship appeared. It was even the one by MAXIS!!! :Laff: What would a Grox spaceship be doing on a T3 planet!!! :Laff: It also took my one and only domesticated animal. I'll post the video later 'cause I'm on the wrong computer

The Grox is nothing for me.

You know, One of my friends have totally wiped out ALL the groxes.
And one of my other friends has ALLIED all the groxes.

The first Spaceship I EVER saw in my game was a Grox ship.

You see, I was on my first planet ever, Zirogrisisis, it was night and I was walking around with my pack when this Grox ship came out of nowhere! Of course I didn't know what the Grox was...

yeah same heer. i didn't even LOOK UP the grox LOL

TIP::: when you try to go to the core, have at least 4 allies. They wont attack you, they will attack your allies first!(what a great friend are you ). In between moves from one solar system to the next, click p to pause it. hover around other solar systems with your mouse, and find a solar system with a green beam from you to it. Unpause it, and go to that solar system! Keep doing that until you reach the core! It worked for me.
