| I think that the spam section has no good purpose. It is supposed to be so that all of the spam in the forum can be kept in one place, but it is only causing spam. If there were no spam thread, then the other sections of the forum would remain spam-free. I think that the spam thread is purposeless, and takes away from the purpose of the GAC. So we will have a vote as to whether or not we should keep it. |

| I don't really think we should keep the Spam Section....
It's pointless and some people in GAC try to up there post rate to go up the leaderboard.

I think that the RP section should be the new forum games section, considering there are very few threads in there. And by "forum basket" you mean the lock archive, right? |

Nice ideas. I really think we should make RP Section the FGS. As you said there isn't alot of threads... all the popular threads (AAQTTNUP etc.) are like an endless game.

| May I just ask what exactly you consider to be 'Spam'? Because half of the Spam Section's topics are less 'Spammy' than Off-Topic's. Sure, rename the Spam section to 'Misc. Threads' or something, if you really hate the word 'Spam' so much, but don't remove it.
And Gelo, don't blame the Spam thread for the lack of adventure making (as I assume that is what you mean by the purpose of the GAC). Blame the community. The Spam thread is not the reason people aren't playing Spore. No-one is posting in the Spore-related threads. And no-one is doing anything about it.
If you want people to discuss Spore, make discusions. Post in those discussions. Make adventures. And post about them. I'm currently making an adventure, and will post a thread about that closer to completion, but as for everyone saying this place is too Spammy, discuss Spore! I only see people complaining, and no-one doing anything about it! |

| Well, Frostie, there can only be so many RPs in the RP section that people can actually use. So far, I've only seen about two to three in use. The subject of the RP section is too specific; there is plenty of room for more stuff to be added in, so expanding it to become the game section is great.
Oh, and Ferrety, when I say that it's taking away from the purpose of GAC, I mean that people are putting much more attention into the spam section than any of the other sections that are actually related to Spore. |

No I do not, the "Forum Basket" is somewhere where spam threads and the like are placed away from the prying eyes of normal members. The Sporum even has one, I put one on EuroSpore.
Having a Spam Section gives people the wrong idea. Any forum with one is essentially promoting spam. I don't think having that section is reducing adventure making or even increasing any so called spam here, I just think it is a stupid idea for a section.
Spam is any post that adds nothing to a topic or is purposely off-topic, posting pictures of tins of spam, lolcats and the like is also spam. Responding to spam is also spam. |

Okay, That is a WONDERFUL argument! Lets start there. Sence must of are evolutionist then you should belive that we where accident, therefore we have no purpose. So there for YOU are saying that if something has no purpose we should get rid of it. That means evolutionarlly speaking, we should get rid of the human race.

| Sure, I'll end the poll. The majority of the GAC voted that the spam section should be removed altogether, or that the parts of the spam section should be moved to other sections. |

That seems like totally useless spam to me. We are probably going to get rid of it completely, but if you're REALLY lucky, we might make a forum games section for it. |
