| Well, Kitty, I think the leech looks cool. And it has no weaknesses, like Spiritomb or Sableye. Plus, Sableye's state pale in comparison to Eelektross'. And most of its stats are better than Spiritomb. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as many immunities as Spiritomb and Sableye (normal, fighting, psychic) | |

| A challenge to all Pokemon Players here: Get a Milotic! And I don't mean from a friend or anything, evolve it from a Feebas!! Does GAC accept the challenge? I had a Milotic until I lost my Ruby GamePak ... DP/SS/HG/PokeWalker are not accepted, complete the challenge on 3rd gen games | |

| I got a Milotic on a Gen. 3 game, but I transfered it to my Pearl. I still remember where one of my Feebas spots is. It was one of the first I searched. So yeah, I got a Milotic. | |

| Shedinja sucks. It looks sick, but it would be so much more better if it had HP. Ninjask is also pretty useless unless you combine it with a pokemon that knows "follow me" and you teach the ninjask swords dance. Then you baton pass to a Scizor and X-scissor the c*** out of everybody. | |

I am afraid to find out what c*** stands for... Oh... cr*p is considered to be a vulgar word in GAC... Lol, what was I thinking? :P Anyways, actually Wonder Guard makes Shedinja pretty strong, and making it hold Lum Berry will vanish all possible threats of status ailment damages. Or... you can teach your Shedinja certain attacks that will be "super-effective" towards pokemon types that are likely to take out your Shedinja. Or... you can teach it thief and steal opponent pokemon's items (this is only if you can't make a good use of Shedinja any other way). It only sucks when your opponent uses Spikes... Problem Shedinja?

| Only problem is that Shedinja has a base speed of 40, which is almost stupifyingly slow. Unless you're facing a Trapinch. So Shedinja had pretty much no chance of taking out any supereffective hitters. And most sweepers are armed with a variety of move types so they can sweep out a wide range of pokemon. And what's more, spikes/stealth rock is a very common move in competitive battling.
BTW, I'm working on that Milotic. I still have to get that super rod from Mossdeep, but when I catch that Feebas, I'm definitely keeping that Milotic in my party. I'll teach it Ice Beam so I can easily take out the Dragon elite 4 guy.

| I *pant* finnaly defeated *pant*, the Normal Gym Leader at HG. She is incrediblely hard with Quilava. Her cow pokemon (forgets name) is very annoying. She uses Attract and my Quilava just gets immoblized. I can't use any attack and when I attack the pokemon it uses Milk Drink and replenishes her health. Then she finished Quilava with Rollout. But then I caught more pokemon to help me and I crushed her little cow. This is the team I used. Quilava LV30 Nidorino LV19 Growlithe LV13 Pidgey LV10 ... @Gelo: You don't really need a Ice Pokemon or Ice move to beat the 4th Elite. The Champion and the 4 Elite's were pathetic at Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire. I beat all of them with only one pokemon. The other pokemon never helped. I used Blaziken, LV 64. I never broke a sweat. But at DPt/HGSS, the Champ and Elite's are magnificently hard. I had the hardest time at Platinum and Diamond. BTW, if any body is new to HGSS, I would say get a Sneasel. It is Dark-Ice. The types you need to beat the Champ and Elite's. Sneasel's Dark attacks would be good against the Elite's and Ice attacks on the Champ's Dragon pokemon. Good day.

| It's not that I hate Cyndaquil, but I disagree on the thought that Fire is the best Johto starter. I never had a problem with Whitney(Normal Gym Leader) at SS with Croconaw. To me, Totodile pwns all the starters. But, thats my opinion. To some people Cyndaquil pwns. BTW, did anybody here pick Chicorita for a starter? I heard it's really hard to beat the game with it, mostly because of it's low Attack and Special Attack. |

| I has a Typhlosion. And no wonder you were failing at the normal gym, your party SUCKS. You only trained your Quilava to the right level. All your other pokemon suck, not only because of their level, but because they have bad base stats. You got to train pokemon with awesome base stats. And they all have to be at level 30 before fighting that gym.
Example: in my Emerald (I'm doing a new game) my pokemon are ten levels above everyone else's pokemon. You have to train in the wild to keep your pokemon at the right level. ALL your pokemon should be stronger than the average level of trainers/gym leaders that you're encountering.
And sneasel is actually a bad choice if you ask me. It has a massive weakness to fighting, not to mention some other weaknesses to fire, bug, rock, and steel, most of those being common types. Yes, its speed is nice, but you must evolve it into a Weavile before it is even remotely useful. And you're always stuck to physical attacks, because even Weavile's special attack stat frankly sucks.
I'm not saying you're dumb or you're a bad trainer, but you need to put more thought into your party choices.

Sort of. I don't like a lot of stuff that's being introduced in Black and White, including higher evolution levels, bad-looking pokemon, triple battles, and enhanced graphics. But I know I'm gonna get it anyway. Because I have to. But I'm not going to buy it, I'm just gonna wait until someone buys it for me. And by the way... Cacturne watches over teh Pokemon Thread
