RP boards?

I'm talking good old serious group storytelling RP. Or least, that's how I refer to it as. Basically proper, but you can come up with basically any plot, as long as it's rational.

My Idea is that we should have an RP board on this site. not a seperate site, but actually a place where people can creatively express themselves and share plots with each other. Basically we would start with a scenario or area, with some characters we've planned out. (and possibly have a character bio section for that) and go from there. also, multiple plots could be happening at once, and some may be able to cross over to one another, as spore worlds meet. but the plots wouldn't actually combine, though some of them probably could, the effects on a character from one plot may continue on into another plot. there would be RP rules, like no insta kills or god mode (as in I HAVE A POWER LEVEL OF 99999999999999996541!)
So yeah, I think it may be able to work, especially if we have a better RP system than the sporum, where all the plots are one topic, and in one forum. However... Plots COULD be in one topic, if you want it to be a sign up plot.

So yeah, this is a wall of text with me contemplating role-playing. have fun with it. feel free to add to it and whatnot.

Group storyline RP. Hmm. Sounds like it could be fun actually. Since everyone would be adding to stories, maybe it would be a good thread to start in the Library? I don't know for sure, might try asking Mighty_Glass about it... If you're asking for a whole new section to be added, you'd have to ask one of the Leaders. I'm for some kind of storyteller thing here though, does sounds fun.

For the first, I don't like RP's.
But i do actually have to think about the Mortals.

So, A Group RP? it's a good idea BUT, i could have flaws. People do not always want the same thing and it could easily go into fights.

Okay, first of all. Glass, you ain't the only mod here. And second of all. I have ZERO objection of RP's, though personally, I would on join them selectively, I can add an entire new SECTION for dedicated RP's if enough users want it. Yes, I have those powers, and if the users want it. They can have it.

And Glass, for gods sake. I can see you being a good leader, but your not the only mod here. If users stick to their own RP's, we will have no problem. If we do, we get rid of the RP. Simple, Done and done.

Didn't mean to offend any of the other Mods by referring someone to Glass, he just seems to be on at a lot of the same times as me I'd probably participate in some kind of RP, assuming it's not based in Pokemon or anything like it... My favorite part of the original idea is a character bio section, just seems fun.

Glad to hear people's opinions on this. I don't think we'd just allow someone to just randomly toss the plot in a different direction. as I said, plots CAN cross over sometimes, but only when it's rational or doesn't change either of the plot creators' plots I mean, we don't want to be having an intense moment and suddenly having a giant brooding smack talking green and purple sonic recolor coming in, randomly killing everything, now do we? I doubt we would want any of those in there. Though I am not all of you, and opinions may differ. I prefer avoiding those kinds of characters. Think of the crossing storylines like different species or planets in spore discovering each other, and what they decide to do...
