| Sure, I might be able to help with that. I've never used GIMP myself, however. | |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Ordered from most recent to older. With the second and third images I tried doing solely brushes and used as little resources as possible. Thats what I am trying to really accomplish, making these without spam from C4ds and various scrapped images. | |

| I'm impressed, you've really improved a lot since I last saw your work, I particularly like the colours. The first thing I might pick out to improve on, as regards the lower two, is the blurring / sharpening: the focal areas on the Wingle are a bit over-sharpened, which leaves some jagged edges, and while you've got the right idea with blurring the lower body I might recommend coupling this technique with either selectively erasing (with a large soft brush), darkening or covering up the blurred area to make it stand out less. This might be somewhat more difficult to do with the barrel of Master Chief's gun on the left side of the other sig, as it is in the foreground, but placing the text right underneath it attracts attention to it. I might instead have placed the text closer to the focal, somewhere to the right of his head perhaps. My only other gripe with the Halo sig is that the C4D in the bottom right, layered on top of the render, looks a bit out of place — I think because it doesn't quite fit the flow of the rest of the piece. Everywhere else, the lines seem to be moving outwards from the focal point. An alternative way to help define the focal in a piece, which could apply to the first and third sig if you like, is with colour saturation. It's not always applicable, but I might sometimes apply a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer on top of everything to increase the overall saturation, then erase the layer mask with a large soft brush until it only effects the focal area I want — or do the opposite, and desaturate the outlying areas. This would just be for a bit of extra kick on the third sig, but I feel it might help a little on the Kyrios tag: it's a rather intricate render, so defining the head specifically as the focal is challenging — perhaps removing / lowering the opacity of the bit of the C4D that passes behind the head would also make it easier to pick out. Anyway, I hope some of that is helpful. My favourite is probably the Kyrios tag, 'cos I'm a sucker for bright colours and I like the contrast between the busyness of the focal and the relative simplicity of the background (no that doesn't contradict what I said two sentences ago. >:U). | |

| I'll have shed a lot of my IRL commitments, which are mounting at present, by next Friday — at that point the likelihood of me getting your sig done is significantly improved. | |

| I made two more, both which utilize that old tutorial on the OP of this thread. Obviously only the basics are used, the blurring and the contrast/brightness areas as well. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| If you want to put it on a t-shirt, my only condition is that I get to see what it looks like. (Also, needless to say you can't sell the design as it uses fonts and an asset or two that I don't own. ) | |

| I won't sell it, no worries. ^ ^ It's meant to be a personal shirt. And I'll put up a pic here sooner or later when I get it printed out. | |

| I'll just give you the main characters: lINK Link
But before you get started, I need to recreate one character then I'll add it to the request sheet, is that alright?

| Cbf, Tala, requests complete: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Naboo, I'm sorry but I can't complete your request. If you would like to make a different one, however, I would be happy to give you priority on the waiting list. Frostie, I'll have a go at completing your request before deciding if I can produce something I'd be willing to post. | |

| Got a request. Name: DRaGO Render: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Size: Same as all previous sigs Tagline: War Colour/s: Having some glow-y stuff emanating from the red and blue (respective colors, meaning red behind red, blue behind blue) would be nice, and maybe just some lighter blue in the background, kinda like the sky. Everything else, you have free reign. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

You can put whatever picture you'd like and put in a code that you have to buy from the store. Sorta like Steam Wallet Card things. Plus, I got some special paper that's used for printing onto shirts. All you have to do is use an iron and burn the bloody picture on. | |
