Old Republic, anyone?

Hey guys, sorry I've been absent recently.

Between school, social life, and games, I haven't had time for much else. I'll try to drop in and out of here more often, though.

However, what I want to ask is if any of you guys are currently playing Star Wars: The Old Republic. If you're a Republic player, and within the level 20-30 range, drop me a PM. I'd like to play with you guys. If you aren't playing this game, and need a good time sink, get it. It has been by FAR one of the best MMO's I've played. That and Star Wars Galaxies, but don't remind about Papa Hutch about that.

As I said, I'll try to be more active for you guys. Hope you all had a good Christmas.

Just got the game today for my birthday. Going to pop it in at some point in the next few days. Your not the only one with a busy life. I hear you loud and clear.

I should inform you that the download is over 20 gigs, took me about 36 hours to get download it, so unless you have a physical copy, I wouldn't count on getting it up and ready soon.

Also, if you end up being a republic player, I'll be sure to try and get some gear for you. If only the modable stuff didn't bind to your character :/

I have a solid copy thankfully. Once I figure everything out I will probably come and troll you.

Got the game, no activation code.

Will go buy one as fast as possible. Hopefully this weekend. I'm just starving to play it!
I was also considering becoming a republic player.

Downloaded. That was one hell registration cycle though. Joined the republic and played as a jedi. Hardly got into it yet. Killed a few meat wads on steroids and went to bed. I have yet to figure out how any of it works, I have not actually played an MMO that operates like this before.

If you bought it online, the product activation code is the serial number you get with the email, I don't know what happened if you got a physical copy though.

Physical copies get a code on a sheet of paper.

I was thinking of getting it, but then I realised that it was way too similar to World of Warcraft, and I didn't want to bother around with playing two of the same MMOs at once. Sorry.

That hapened to me when I first bought Half Life 2. Apparently my code was stolen though, so I had to get it refunded.

Would you have to pay every month just to play that game? I'm not doing that should it be the case. :/

It does have a fee, but I think you can play offline without pay.

Speaking of MMOs that take ages to download, do any of you have EVE online? The trailer looked intriguing and I need a third party opinion.

Got my bounty hunter suited up. This game is insane. Its a lot like WoW.

I've got a Trooper, but he isn't level 20 yet. And yes Drew, it's a lot like WoW, and completely addicting.
