Davo made a mod so you can have Darkspore parts in Spore.

Ohhh. I don't know how to use mods anyway, so whatevs.

I have never used a Spore mod, despite being a big fan of Minecraft mods.

I guess I'm not getting this, apparently you need Darkspore for the parts to work.

Funny you should post this now -- I was planning to check out this mod today. The only thing that worries me slightly is this:

I do not know if having the Bot parts is an absolute requirement. Or what happens when you don't install in the correct order and use the mod.

You will need to ask the creator. You can do this on the Sporum thread or on the Davo Online thread if you have an account for that site (registering is a breeze).

Is it safe to use this mod? I don't want to download it in case it has a hidden virus or some other bad thing. :/

I havn't had any bad effects from this mod, so I'd say it's safe. Still, always be cautious; if you have anti-virus, and you SHOULD, then use it.

Thanks and I'm always cautious to that kind of thing. My computer should be able to take it after having so many updates.

just downloaded the mod and started fiddling around with it, looks awesome so far, though I hadn't created anything cool yet.

This actually looks rather nice. I don't really play Spore much, but this looks really good!
