Requesting power.

Lord Hutch, I request all moderators be giving some Admin powers. Such as the ability to see action/moderation history panel that was brought up during the ban of lonestar. Administrating users is very limited. We can only ban.

Of course we can edit their posts and such. But as far as seeing what they are up to is not easy without some of these things that are not visible to mods. It would make some sort of difference in the way we handle things.

We can also keep track of ourselves easier too. I made this as a thread because I wanted to see if anyone actually agreed with me.

I am not sure Forumotion allows this sort of access, I shall investigate this issue to see if it is even possible. However, if it is, it is up to Lord Hutch as to whether he wants this ability allowed.

NB: The Sporum gives the SporeMasters the history of both moderation and suspension.

I was pretty sure that Forumotion, like most other forums, would let you customize permissions masks.

Have learnt that forumotion does not have the facility for this.
I shall see if there is a way round this, but I doubt it highly, since all the workarounds are pretty much graphics only.


Permissions is purely an access thing, Jat, as far as forumotion are concerned.

That's very narrow minded of them. Permission masks make administrating members so much easier.

I asked about that already. He's an SM at the Sporum and admins EuroSpore so Hutch gave him extra powahs.

Some people can get admin powers even if they are not at the leader rank.

Only admins have access to the moderation logs.

If you are not happy with me having access to the admin panel, I am willing to remove myself... or be removed, from the administrators group.

Vek, I certainly don't mind you having the powers. Having your powers removed is not what I want.
