It has come to my attention that the user "Llamahater" as tried to enter the forum from multiple alt accounts. I'm going to say now for anyone else, I am going to start checking the IP's of some users who have been banned and are trying to get in from an alt account. If the IP matches at ALL. Both the alt account, and the user will have their IP address banned.

This won't be with any user, but users who I might think are using alternative accounts to avoid a ban, or get away from punishment if they do anything wrong.

I know, this seems kind of strict. But I'd rather do this for a while than deal with twenty alternative accounts. All other users will not be checked as I said, only the IP's of banned members who might be trying to get back in.

Lazer has stated that he is not an alt of Lamma, or whoever it was that spammed and broke the forum rules, and I am inclined to believe him. It is unfair to allow someone who has not caused a problem to be punished, solely to eliminate the trouble maker. I believe I understand your dillema, and I can understand your choice, but I find your decision in this matter to be too strict. I ask you, as both a friend, and a head of the forum, to reconsider your verdict on this ban. Thank you.

What if they are using a proxy server? Out of experience I know people get alternate accounts when they are banned in a forum (especially in RP forums), but they sometimes do so via proxy (not servers, programs, like a TCPListener). then what?
