Also, as for that Sporum Idea, I'm not too fond of large communities when it comes to making a Miniture Series, and I don't plan (and quite frankly, don't WANT) to have a load of people viewing my casual entries. It's more of a view-per-member of the community ratio thing I'm striving for.( For Instance, If there was a community with 200 members and a larger community with a million members, and my series was reviewed by 100 people on each, I'd be happier to see that half of the smaller community reviewed and downright cared for the series as opposed to only 100 out of 1,000,000. :| ) Thanks for the suggestion though, nice to see tupps!

Fixed the mathematical error in the Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped rating.

Ok. After a long hiatus, I've came to a conclusion on something. I cannot make Terwynd's Topics a weekly entry anymore. There is far too much work to be put into each entry, and simply having about 5 paragraphs typed every week is very hard to do, considering school, some commitments I have, and the fact I have run dry on Topics to talk about (except for Gelo's RP suggestion, I'll get to that next episode, trust me). So don't expect episodes to come out weekly anymore. In fact, don't get too exited for a new episode coming out anytime soon. Far too much is going on for me, and I don't need the added stress of posting 5 paragraphs every week. However, once my life starts to clear up, I will continue with weekly topics again, so cross your fingers, and hope for the best.

I hate popping up things too, I can't remember which game I was playing, but something popped up and scares the h*** out of me.

Here are my opinions on this subject:

#10: Continues.
I quite disagree with this one, personally. Unless it's a very simple game, having to restart completely would annoy me greatly. However, starting exactly where you died would be somewhat annoying

#9: Annoying enemies
I agree with this, annoying enemies should be only found on one or two Dungeons/Levels, and possibly the final Level/Dungeon (possibly summoned by the Final Boss).

#8: The Unstoppable Brute
I agree. In Plants vs Zombies, a fully upgraded arsenal of plants can be utterly ruined by a Giga Gargantuar (or even a normal Gargantuar for that matter), it takes 3 (2 for normal) 'Insta-kills' to defeat one! On top of that, their smash attack kills every plant in one hit (excluding Spikerocks, who take 4 hits), even when guarded by Pumpkins!

EDIT: early on in the game, and later on when paired with Ladder Zombies, Football Zombies can be quite annoying or even difficult. However, I guess the point of this post wasn't to categorize every PvZ enemy, so I won't go into this.

#7: Repetitive Dialogue.
I agree with you. Although, I actually thought the 'Burn to the Ground!' one was kind of catchy.

#6: Bad Controls.
I agree. Kirby's Epic Yarn's Train metamortex is nearly impossible to control. You aren't even technically controlling it, you have to make railroads for it to cross across, however it is so glitchy that Kirby/Prince Fluff INSTANTLY falls of the rails (good thing there are never bottomless pits on those levels...). Not only that, but you have to have the room pitch black to control the Wii remote properly. Failing to do this causes too much rails, it takes Kirby too long to get pass these scrambles of rails and eventually the rails simply decay. On top of that, in Mulitplayer, every time one player sets a rail, there rails become obsolete and the other player has to catch Kirby/Prince Fluff with their rails before they plummet to another frustrating round.

#5: Jump-Scares
I'll be honest here and say I never play games like that, I'm paranoid enough as it is.

#4: Overly Frustrating Game
I know how you feel here... and I doubt there is a Gamer who doesn't.

#3: QuickTime events
Cutscenes can be annoying.

#2 Escort Missions.
That Tauren does sound annoying. However, I do want Escort Missions, and in my opinion if the escort isn't in danger of enemies, it gets somewhat boring.

#1: Dissapointing/Terrible/Random/Easy Final Boss.
I agree with you here.

Might as well copy Blixafish.

#10: Continues.
I acually like continues, if the game you're playing is difficult and you're having trouble with clearing a level.

#9: Annoying enemies
I suppose their apperances should be limited. It would get annoying and repeditive after a while.

#8: The Unstoppable Brute
This all really depends on the game, me thinks. In some games, these guys acually make the game more interesting, and force you to think about other alternitive ways to get around them.

#7: Repetitive Dialogue.
Aww, I thought "BURNTOTHEGROUNDBURNBURNTOTHEGROUBURNTOTGROU" was kinda funny. P:

#6: Bad Controls.
I agree here, It took me a WHILE to get used to the controls for "Sonic Riders :Zero Gravity", but in some games you ARE able to change the controls to your liking.

#5: Jump-Scares
This is a problem, but Amnesia: The Dark Descent wouldn't be the same without them! D:

#4: Overly Frustrating Game
I'm going to disagree here. Super Meat Boy and Touhou are AWESOME!

#3: QuickTime events
I remeber playing this "Pirates of the Caribbean" game that I rented for a week of so where I was watching Jack loot some random guy, and then it randomly asked me to press the "B" button on my Wiimote to avoid getting caught. Cue me failing to react and me having to fight off a mob of mad NPCs.

#2 Escort Missions.
I've never really had that problem with the escortee being slower than you, the only time I ever really had to do something like that was when I used to play Dungeon Siege when I was about 8, and I still managed to beat the game. (What? Can't little girls play RPGs too?)

#1: Dissapointing/Terrible/Random/Easy Final Boss.
This may sound crazy, but some games acually DO need easier bosses, usually when you have to face them consecutively, or all at the same time. (Take Pokemon for instance, wouldn't it be annoying walkin through to find N and being beaten sensless by a Galactic Grunt just before you reach him?)

#10: Continues.
Fine with me, I don't have a problem with them. (I would always laugh when I get a continue on Sonic Adventure DX)

#9: Annoying enemies
Lemme think, I always hated Redeads from Zelda.

#8: The Unstoppable Brute
Redeads, again.

#7: Repetitive Dialogue.
DO A BARREL ROLL! That was a funny one.

#6: Bad Controls.
Hm.. Controls are easy for me to get used to.

#5: Jump-Scares
Doesn't happen for me in games, but in real life... Like spiders.

#4: Overly Frustrating Game
I dunno, I usually don't play frustrating games.

#3: QuickTime events
Portal, some things you have to react to so fast. So, I agree.

#2 Escort Missions.
In GA, yes. Other games, no.

#1: Dissapointing/Terrible/Random/Easy Final Boss.
The games I play are usually recreation games, No bosses.

That's not quicktime events either. Quicktime events are where you are required to press buttons (usually during cutscenes) to prevent bad things happening.

Oh, never had that happen.

I actually like escort missions, if they're done right. They put your character in perspective, showing you that you're not the only one in the world who has to survive, and sometimes you have to wait for others. It's a nice deviation from the standard gameplay. However, I especially liked the one in Metroid Prime 3 when you had to get the bomb squad through the space pirate homeworld. You don't actually have to have them with you all the time, you just have to keep them alive by beating the enemies, and you can go ahead without them if you've beaten everybody.

I personally HATE Escort missions.

Heh, I am reminded of Resident Evil 4 -- quick-time events, escort missions and repetitive dialogue all in there, but made up for by the fact that if you ever tire of hearing "LEEEOOON...! HELP ME!" you can always put a bullet in Ashley's head. Joyful

Screw the game over, it felt good.

The part where you suddenly have to run down a corridor from the Shadow scaced me pretty bad too.

Totally agree with the dissapointing game post, especially the part about Repettition and Escort, escort things are super irritating, and the Repettition thing espically! Every time I do the Grim Batol dungeon in WoW that Dahga guy always keeps repeating:

"I WILL BURN YOU FROM THE INSIDE OUT!!!"

Hello guys, It's been a hectic time in the past week school-wise, but it's safe to say that IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK!

I actually haven't seen all the buzz that my countdown has gotten until now, and I gotta say, I am really, REALLY surprised at how popular that post is. So, first and foremost, I want to say that I will definitely be doing more countdowns in the future, and to be honest, I'm going to stay a little on the negative side. I mean, hey. Who doesn't like blowing off steam?

Also, I'm headed off to a relative sometime between this Monday (tomorrow) and this Saturday. So, don't expect me to be working on a countdown, or even be on this forum for the time being. I'll be gone for around 2 weeks. After that, I'll be here writing up countdowns and other things WEEKLY.
