You have a PSN? If so, you're in trouble.

As some of us might know, PSN (Playstation live network) was hacked by an unknown party, sony quickly closed the network some time last week and the servers have yet to come back on, this week sony has come up clean, admitting that there was a breach in security and they were rebuilding the network so that they could avoid problems like these. They also added that these hackers EASILY stolen the personal info of MILLIONS of users, as sensitive customer information was in Unencrypted, plain text documents

If you have an account on PSN, this information was certainly stolen:

ZIP code (Including your address)
Birthdate
Full name
PSN login info
Country
E-mail

It is also likely that this information was stolen, if you bought anything digitally off PSN

Your credit card number
Your billing address

If any of you have a PSN, I'd tell your parents to cancel their credit cards right away and get replacements, and also get new Emails. It is possible that your identity could be stolen, but at the very least, the hackers will be selling the info to spammers.

This is why you pay for your online service, or at the very least. Stretch the truth about your name and locations, I'm dearly sorry if anyone will be affected by this. Just want to let you guys know.

But PSN's being free didn't really affect how it got hacked, Halo got hacked on XBox Live a few years ago and the whole XBox Live system was down.

I don't own a PS3, but I have heard about this. Personally, I think that Sony should be more careful about where they put their files. but I'm probably gunna get haters for saying that.

Well, kids guess what we have learned today: FAKE YOUR PROFILE INFORMATION. On my Xbox live, I live on sesame street and my ZIP code is some one in vermont, and my email is my spambox email. The only place I have honest information is on my steam profile, and even that is pretty vague.
