Announcment to users / Moderator team

It has come to my attention that some users have been banned for almost no reason, or without correct notification from the moderation team. This is either the fault of the moderators, or one of you users is unfairly banning people from the "Rights" you have obtained for some reason. I'd like to ask who has been doing this, if it's the moderators. Please tell me so I can clear up any confusion with the disciplinary system, or if your a user. Just stop and tell me, and nothing will happen to you.

It however, might be a glitch. And I'll have to confirm, but that is not likely. And if this countinues, I will have to demote ALL users to standard user until I can find out who might have done it. So, if any users have any information on who might be responsible please send me a PM, and if the person responsible tells me, nothing will happen and no one will be punished

Hmm... this is unnerving. Well, I can tell you that I haven't been on GAC for a while, except the Chatbox, in which I sit around waiting for someone until I'm logged out automatically. As for Nagho getting banned, I have a nasty suspicion which someone will be ticked at me for proposing...

I have a guess and it' about Nagho's mysterious ban. Remember how Lone HATED Nagho at first? Well he tried to ignore him, but I was on chat with lone, and you know how some users can mysteriously ban other low ranked people? Well when Lone found out, he told me on chat: "Wow! I can give off-topics and BAN!?" He said "Yeah, it's a weird glitch" I said. "I'm gonna have some fun !" Then he gave 3D a bunch of off topics, 3D deleted them, and then he mysteriously left. Suspicion? He HATED Nagho, and wanted o get back, then Lone could BAN low ranked people. O_O

Lone left right before it happened. To me that does not add up. He has not logged on sense before Nagho was banned.

As far as him hating him Lazer, thats only partly true. You have absolutely no idea what really happened between Lone and Nag. I was told on multiple occasions, and it all took place on another fourm. Lone really wanted to show his work here therefore I doubt he would want to get into a hell of a lot of trouble here and I talk to him on a regular bassis. He did not ban him.

I'm quite aware of Lone's possibility in Nag's ban, but the chances he also banned Jat is unlikely. I'll talk to lone, but as for now. Keep your accusations at bay. Chances are I share the same idea.

How do you plan on talking to him? He's gone now. I am sure he still lurks but, he has not said much about GAC sense he left.

I can't escape the irony of my introduction thread and subsequently being banned.

I didn't do it. That's all I got to say.

wow, that's a bit freaky. what do you mean by users with "rights" though?

Guys i did already did talk to Lone. And he said he kinda would like to ban him, but he knew it would raise suspicion against him so he didn't do it. And he would never do it anyway.

Is it possible to check user's permissions?
I thought there was a glitch when ordinary people could ban others. Perhaps it could be one of them? No?

Does this forum not have a ban history or something?

I don't think so. It might be somebody using Wildcard and banning people.

This is a little freaky. We really gotta figure out who did these things. One way or another...

Thats seems really unlikely.. I am not sure though if that an happen. I have noticed that this fourm brings me to other sites sometimes and I have had really odd things happen before.

Anyway, i guess we should put this as a side-mission. Nagho has no trouble right now, but we should still figure out who did it.

Have you got a "User Discussion" area where you discuss the behaviour of those whom are bending and/or breaking the rules? If not, you should at least make a thread in the Mod section to do this so the entire team can see a history of what individuals have done.

Then, if someone gets suspended, and there is no information within the area/thread, you can then help to justify the suspension or understand the issue.
