True, but paleontology is a science. Correct?

I don't think that boron is a transition metal (or a metal at all, for that matter) But you are right about mercury.

What about it? I always found that kind of thing to be boring. As far as I know, variations in a species occur when genetic mutations, due to errors during the construction of DNA, happen. That's about all I know about DNA mutation. Why don't you enlighten us, Lazer?

Please be more specific with your posts, Lazer... if you're gonna post something, please do so, because I know nothing about particle physics.

Okay, stage 1: Molecules and atoms. How do they work? What are they? AND name some that you know of. Lets begin,

H2O2 is Hydrogen peroxide
N2O is nitrous oxide
CH3 is Methyl-acetylene

Elements are basically just names for atoms! Now it's your turn to give info and ask questions!

Lazer, stop messing up our thread. If nobody responds to your question, obviously nobody knows. The science thread was not invented for this. You're supposed to explain stuff instead of making people feel bad by asking stuff that they don't know. Do us a favor, and please answer your questions. The science thread was made to inform. I believe I've already warned you about this in the past...

Well I wanted to get more info on it! It's to start a discussion! Fine...Do you think that a plama engine could help exploration in space? The theory is the design could go 123000 miles an hour, and go to mars in about 1 month...what do you guys think?

Well... plasma is made of ions, which have much more chemical energy than stable atoms. Therefore, they contain much more potential energy due to their charge. If this charge could somehow be exploited, probably in an exergonic reaction, then I suppose it would make a good fuel. I don't know how long it would last, though.

You are correct, using hydrogen ionized to plasma, the electomagneticly pressurize it, it would create ALOT of force.

Ok, think of string theroy as how the universe works and the very exestince of the universe and every thing in it. it's quite simple actule, all it is is explaining the fact that multiple molocules make up 3d objects. Popcorn

Very good knowledge. Does anyone here believe in time travel...I want to be an inventor but I don't exactly believe in it. What about you?

Well... this is hard to explain. think of it this way, if you go through a black hole (with out some how being crushed into millions of octillians of trillions of peices! :( ) but even then you cuold be squashed by traveling through the wormholes after black holes! But if you make it through you either get spat out another singularity(and still get crushed with that one!) or you come to a place called the Einstien Rossen bridge, and it spits you out at any place in the uiniverse and through TIME! But then again this is only theretical. (I hoped you learned well!

I believe in time travel. You know those people who say "anything's possible"? Well, they're wrong. There is no way to prove that anything is impossible, since we can't do it. Time travel totally counts. There are numerous theories regarding time travel, and maybe one of them is correct. More possibly than not, though, none of them are correct. I don't have a favorite theory, since most of them make no sense to me.

I don't because (Well it's a long explanation but I think it's just a lawn of space-time) that it's impossible.
