I have just one question.
Does the ability to ride pokemon apply to more than just that new Goat pokemon? I ask this, because....

You wouldn't be the first.
Although personally, I'd go for
It could be a HM, or a field move like Dig. I really doubt that it would be limited to just one Pokemon; I just hope that we get to ride other cool Pokemon around.
Like Sunkern.
EDIT:
Well, the 3D will be worth the money, apparently. And you get to sit on benches! Gamefreak has finally listened!

A problem I can see with using a HM move to determine which pokemon can be ridden is the fact that, with the power of the action replay, pokemon that aren't supposed to know said move can easily learn it, ans since we're using 3D pokemon animations now instead of those weird shadow-sprites in the previous games, what would happen if you taught the riding move to, say, a Pichu? Would the animation show or would the game break? (To be fair though, if you WERE able to see an animation for riding a Pichu, that would probably be the funniest thing ever)

That used to be my favorite thing to do when visiting Slateport City in Pokemon Emerald.
EDIT:
can someone tell me if this is photoshopped or not because I'm pretty sure it's impossible to move diagonally in pokemon

From the movement of the characters in the video, it looks like movement it analog instead of tile-based. But I could be wrong.
edit: wait, I was wrong. I saw the guy move at a weird angle at 0:16 but that's just because the tiles in that city are angled, like in Castelia where you don't move in a straight line but rather in a circle.

Serebii says otherwise, but we'll just have to wait and see, I guess.
In the meantime, can I quickly point out how WEIRD Gogoat looks when attacking?
I really wanna catch one and name it Gadget. GOGOAT GADGET VINE WHIP

You do know you can post fanart without it being attached to a fake scan, right?
Also, there are images of diagonal walking on the official site (and diagonal standing, for that matter), including that very image, so it's legit. For that matter, the angle of movement in the city seems too abrupt for it to be like Castelia. Also also, Gogoat only looks weird because it's using Horn Leech.
On the subject of new Pokemon, I really like Helioptile.

I'm aware of that, hence I said you can post fanart that isn't a fake scan. There are neat things that aren't in fake scans!
Also, more Helioptile

See, the point behind me posting fakes scans is that I'm saying "Hey guys, maybe the new pokemon could look like this??". If I just posted fanart, that kinda defeats the purpose.
And before you say "But what about the fanart that has fakemon in it??" Hate to tell you this, but most of those happen to be in the form of fake scans.

Your first point makes no sense. Why does posting normal fanart defeat the purpose? If anything, it would be better, because the art would be clearer. For the second point, that is blatantly untrue. Most fakemon aren't in fake scan form (it takes a lot more technical prowess to make fake scans, more than the average fakemon artist has). In fact, some fake scans just use art from other places.
I'm aware this argument sounds really petty, but I really don't like fake scans being posted just for that one idiot who thinks they might be real, especially when there is an alternative that is better in nearly all conceivable ways.

I
what
how
are you serious
First off, You said you wanted Fanart. These scans ARE Fanart, so what more could you want? If I went and posted a random pokemon fanart in the middle of our discussion about the new changes in X & Y, it would be so out of place that it would be a pointless post, so don't start on that.
Secondly, excuse me for NOT going out of my way to find fanart to appease your tastes, because I post things as I find them, and most of those happen to be fake scans, deal with it. You want Clearer Art? There's this site called "Deviantart" which can supply you with all the fakemon art you need, go search for some instead of telling me to do it for you. Plus, Why should I care if they art wasn't made by the person who made the scan? I posted them because I thought they looked cool, just like how you're currently ending all your posts with gifs of Helioptile. Finally, as mentioned previously, I never said they were real, so if someone here actually perceives the images as being legit then that's their own fault.

I'm not sure how I feel about fairy type. I don't like how it's good against dragon. But I liked some of the new pokemon in the video, like that moth thing. And hopefully pokemon-amie won't be required, because I don't like games that require me to feed a pet on a regular basis
Nintendogs never again

Dragon types are OP enough for this to be a requirement. Fairy is good by my books.
Though I imagine that Amie would be an opional thing like Pokemon contests in the 3rd and 4th games and that Musical thing in 5th. Meaning that I'm going to use it because it's pretty cute!! Plus, I like the look of that new Bat pokemon, it puts Zubat and Swoobat to SHAME

I still don't like fairy being good against dragon. I don't mind of dragon is abnormally powerful; I actually like having a little imbalance in the games. It forces you to think creatively in-game and competitively as well when facing those foes.
And I agree, that bat is quite cool.

While I do agree that imbalancing does make for some creative thinking, going up against your friend who has a full party of lvl 100 salamances with fire and fighting moves isn't exactly the best way to lose a battle. :/
and yes I am basing that on a true story, 5th grade playgrounds were never a place of fair competition
EDIT: Serebii just updated, more new pokemon cometh
Spoiler:
Talonflame
Skrelp
Clauncher
clauncher looks kinda cute in a derpy way. P: I don't understand talonflame's name though. ORIGINALITY

I giggled when the video showed Lucario in the Amie thing.
"Hrrm... yeah, thanks."
As for the new fairy type, I think it's alright. People are obviously pulling out their hair in frustration, but it'll be fine. At least they weren't light and sound types, and there's finally some closure on the Sylveon factor. It also seems very fitting for some of the cutesy Pokemon, and Gardevoir I think could use something more than pure psychic typing.
If, according to that weird play that one Japanese show put on hinting at the properties of Fairy type, it's super-effective against ice, then that's it for Kyurem. Just, goodbye ice-dragon.
Dragon is, of course, supposed to be very powerful, relative to the other types. Mostly, the other types are simple elements, so that mythical dragons still sit on a higher tier. After all, they're supposed to be special.
Contrariwise, I just lost a battle for the first time in Black 2, all thanks to Iris's Haxorus. It's a bit hard for me to think that dragons should remain as powerful as they are right now.

I really hope that Clauncher evolves into something based on the pistol shrimp or mantis shrimp. Those things are practically pokemon already.

FOR THE HORDE
By the way, if any of you have about half an hour to kill, try this: http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~msandbot/pokemon/blackwhite.html It's basically this program used to list your top 10 pokemon by asking you to compare sets of two pokemon together. Might not be 100% correct but it got my list fairly accurately.
the only real problem being that rayquaza and arcanine should be way higher

Well, that's pretty accurate. I don't really have any preference towards Arceus, but everything else is there.
