I feel like spending money.
What are some good Steam games that cost less that $10? (Can be indie or mainstream, I don't really care about that sort of thing)
So far, Braid and Limbo have been suggested to me. I know about Limbo, but what's Braid like?

There's a Yahtzee review on Braid, if you're interested.

You know that feeling you get when you're trying to solve a challenging puzzle in Portal and you feel your mind just start to bend...
Braid.
Also, time warping.
...Also also, cute graphics.
...Also also also, free demo.
'Also' totally just stopped sounding like a word to me.

Free demo, you say? :o I will download said demo then, if what you say about the game is correct.
In the meantime (And there will be a meantime, considering my internet is being VERY VERY SLOW) does anyone know of any other games?

Pity you didn't make this thread about a week ago, when Bastion was on sale, otherwise I'd point you at that one for sure. Just finished it myself. Another near miss is Batman Arkham Asylum, assuming you've not played it on a console at some point — priced at 9.99... GBP.

I just finished the Braid demo. It looked pretty cool, the concept is clever, and Yatzee seemed to like it.
LOL BYE 10 DOLLARS

Well, here's a chance to influence someone else's buying habits with little-to-no consequences.
I really enjoyed Rochard, though I'm afraid it was a bit under-promoted when it was released, not entirely unexpected considering its indie label. The gameplay itself is very original and lends a TON of mind-bending gravity-related mechanics to the table. The main "weapon" you'll be using is kinda like the Half-Life gravity gun crossed with an assault rifle and grenade launcher. The main downfall is that the story is not very good. Still, it is a great game and offers about 5-6 hours of gameplay, plus some replay value if you go for 100% completion.

....That article didn't help at all. ._.
Bro, if you don't give me any legit reason to buy it, I'm not going to piss away my money on it. Simple as that.

My favorite Steam game is Mount and Blade Warband. I got it on sale for two bucks and got extremely addicted. I'm not exactly sure how much into those types of games you are though. Probably not at all. Just a suggestion.

$19.99 =/= Under $10, I'm afraid.

Oh, well like I said, I got it on sale for two dollars and it's bound to go on sale again. That's what is so great about steam, so if you ever see it on sale and you have 2 bucks lying around, give it a try.

The whole Mount&Blade series was on sale 75% off a few weeks ago, so again it's a case of too late to ask, too late to know.
Did that make sense to anyone other than me?
Anyways, my advice for more cheap games would be to wait for the next Steam sale, probably something along the lines of a Summer sale, like what they did last year. Things will be going for unbelievably cheap prices, and it will significantly widen the possibilities for your "under $10" search.
If you can't wait until a major sale, just keep an eye on the Daily Deals (generally lower-end games, but I snagged Mirror's Edge for $5 off of one of these) and Midweek Madness/Weekend Deal (generally better games, though not necessarily more popular, got Oblivion for $5 from this).
If you are really impacient, check out Trine. While I'm not sure of its pricing, it is a very good-looking game. I haven't finished it, though I hope to sometime.
