Minecraft: Trials of Fate

As some may know, i've been working on a minecraft map yet again. But this time, its an actual adventure map! I've worked very hard on this map, and it isn't even a third of the way done yet. It does require the lateest snapshot to work, as it utilizes many features of them, most importantly writable books. But nontheless, I would like some feedback on it. EDIT: Okay, I'm stumped. I've gotten as far as the buried church, but I can't find a way back out to get back to the first village. :/

I'm going to sound very noob but how do I add this map into Minecraft? ^^'

Alright, so I've played through what I think is a significant portion of this map, enough to give you some feedback.

First off, I'm assuming you're going to add the villagers later? Because if they're supposed to be there right now... Well they're not there.

Second, am I supposed to find a way out of the fallen church without starving myself to death? I ended up cheating and using creative mode to get out, but I couldn't see a single feasible way to get out without cheating.

Third, I'm really liking the rest of it. The architecture of the buildings was very nice, and definitely looked better than in the screenshots. The pyramid thing was good, quite enjoyable, though finding my way there was a bit challenging. Also, your utilization of the written books was well-executed.

As a side note, are we supposed to do anything after we finish the pyramid puzzle, or is that part still in progress? I didn't see and "Dante 4" note in the chest in the church, sooo...

if you're on a PC search for %appdata% , then click the folder Roaming and open the .minecraft folder. Then go into your saves and copy-paste the map save into there.

1.Yeah, villagers going in the village is going to be one of the last things I do
2. *facepalm* Just realized I never added the ladder . For the time being, I guess that is the way to get out :P

At the moment the map ends after the pyrimid puzzle. Actually, theres still a little bit of the pyramid puzzle missing, but the main part of it is done. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm finally releasing an updated version of this map . A lot of stuff has been added, and some changes have been made to already existing features. Snapshot 12w37a or later is required for the map to fuction.

Also as a heads up, I was a bit lazy with this release. The map will abruptly end, without a "Not finished yet" sign or anything. Its fairly clear when there isn't anything left though. Please give me any feedback you can, whether its about aesthetics, gameplay, bugs, story, or simply the map itself, all feedback is appreciated
