Eternity

You have decided to undertake the awesome feat of venturing into the labyrinth known as the crypt of eternity, from which none have ever returned. Inside you shall face every manner of danger, from traps to parkour to hordes of monsters. Will you be the one to make it through this impossible dungeon?

Scoring:
Iron ingot=1 point
Gold ingot=5 points
Diamond=10 points
Dragon Egg=50 points

High Scores:
No One!

Things to come:
-Fourth floor: Would be before the current first floor and with a sandstone design

GAH! I was just about to start a thread about MY adventure map! Pictures might be interesting, just to see what you've got for us.

There are pictures of some of the better-looking places now.

Well.. I tried the map but died pretty fast. :/ I spawned in a forest thought after I died, so if you somehow fix that you spawn back in the real spawn that would be great.

Well, I tried it out, and I gotta say, it's pretty good. You've got a good start. Though it was kinda hard for me. You might have designed it for experienced minecraft adventure map-ers, but even so, it was hard. I'd say start off with some less punishing consequences for failure (instead of lava, maybe a two-block deep pit with a return ladder), then work your way to more punishing consequences.

Oh, and I collected four diamonds, six gold bars.

Update, I now have the first floor entirely completed
Also I checked, and with this update there are 11 diamonds, 15 gold ingots, and 13 iron ingots hidden, some in chests some just plain hidden, and some in hidden chests.

I've been working on and off on this and my survival map, but beta 0.4 of this should be done soon

EDIT Sorry for triple post, I thought I deleted my last one...

I'm planning on testing this out soon, though I wanted to ask something out of curiousity. Did you have to do anything different to upload the new file (since I'm assuming you're using Anvil now)? What I mean is, was the file significantly larger/smaller, did you have to zip up more contents, or was it just business as usual?

I didn't actually check, but im pretty sure it was the same size file.

I have to say, I think the second floor turned out really well. THe addition of upside down stair helped A LOT with aesthetics, and fire charges helped make some simple but effective traps.

THe new count of things that will earn 'points' when this is finished is: 25 gold ingots, 19 iron ingots, 21 diamonds, and 1 dragon egg. I know for a fact that I missed a few possible gold/iron ingots though.

Thats odd....
I got the same message yesterday and mediafire refused to work when I tried re-uploading it, but I tried the link again just now and it worked fine.....It must have been an issue with mediafire.

Version 1.0 is done!
THere are now three full floors and a total of 37 gold ingots, 19 iron ingots, 67 diamonds, and 4 dragon eggs hidden. This means the maximum score you can get is 1074. I never counted one cave, so theres actually slightly more than that.
